5 stars True Musicianship- Rostropovich!
Actually, I bought this for his memory. We all know that he is gone; however, his musicianship thoughout all cello suites by J. S. Bach is still here. As a musician (piano performance), I am also looking for the true musicianship, and am very inspired by this recording.
