Vocalist John McDermott's fourth solo album Remembrance pays tribute to all the soldiers who served their country during wartime. With a Memorial Day theme, the collection features music from the WWI era to Vietnam, the veterans of whom he honors with his song "The Wall." In the tradition of his Danny Boy and Christmas Memories albums, Remembrance focuses on McDermott's expressive tenor and the emotions he conveys in the songs. ~ Heather Phares

Great disappointment McDermott is an Irish tenor. I felt he was out of his realm in the music presented Submitted by a reviewer (Scottsdale, AZ USA) Was This Review Helpful? YesNo
A Tribute to American Veterans As a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, this CD of John's is near and dear to my heart. John is a consumate performer and does everything well. His support of the Veterans causes is noteworthy in one so young. "The Wall" is my favorite on this CD. His feelings pour forth when he sings this as with everything he does. John is the "real deal". Beautiful This is a beautiful collection of old favorites combined with more obscure titles. "America the Beautiful" alone is worth the price of the CD. Submitted by Bob (New Hampshire) Was This Review Helpful? YesNo
