3 stars Hmmmmm........ What do you think?
I don't know. Sure, Paul was resurrecting old Beatles songs that haven't been heard in a fresh sense in a long time. But in all honesty, these live versions of Beatles songs are not as good as the original songs. Magical Mystery Tour falls flat, in all honesty. He shouldn't have tried it, much less put it on the live album. But, oh well, that's macca for you. He ain't perfect, but he tries his best. He especially does good on the oldies-but-goodies, and the softer, more elegaic Beatles numbers. For the hard-core fan, but not for casual fans, is my final comment.

Let us all be thankful that Ozzy's retirement didn't stick. It supposedly lasted for three days, after which he got bored and started working on this project. Heavy, riff-intensive tunes, progressive song structures and a little psychedelia give OZZMOSIS a definite Sabbath flavor. Ozzy must have been in touch with whatever inspired early classics like PARANOID and MASTERS OF REALITY. Any Weezer fans disappointed with their comeback albums would be better off listening to a younger set of geek rockers who go by the name of Ozma but could just as easily be called "Weezer circa Blue Album." The Californians have got the fuzzed-out guitars, loud drums, vocal harmonies, and synthesizer down just right. The band's apparent obsession with outer space -- Ozma was the name of the first search for signs of extraterrestrial life -- is taken to a new level on the first part of this album, called "The Russian Coldfusion." It features "Flight of Yuri Gagarin" and "Landing of Yuri Gagarin," the first man in space. There's more nostalgia for the recent past here, which recovering Tetris addicts will notice with the adaptation of "Korobeiniki," a traditional Russian folk song popularized in the 1990s video game.
