Less is More
When I first heard this album, on the week of release, it seemed very quiet and subdued - not what I had come to expect from Pink Floyd. In fact I was disappointed. Over the next few weeks, however, I came to realise there were five or six brilliantly crafted ballads on this album. Brilliantly put together, played and sang - these songs went on to be part of my music landscape for the next 35 years. I still play them regularly. To anyone who has not heard this album, I urge you to listen to some fantastic and beautiful tunes. You will hardly ever hear these songs on the radio, so get this album for some wistful, melodic, original and brilliantly understated music - from the guys who went on to conquer the world.

my fav PF album
This album while not 'critically' favoured remains my favourite Pink Floyd Album. Its 'atmospherics' and 'trippy' sound capture the essence of the Floyd better then any other album IMHO.
For me the highlights are Ibiza Bar, Main theme and Dramatic theme

Underated, fun too listen to...
But doesn't come close to matching up to other Floyd albums unfortunately.
