Capitol's Beatles box set consists of a black, wooden roll-top box made in the U.K. and comes with its own book that contains a detailed history of each track. The box contains all 13 previously released Beatles CDs, including the 2 volumes of PAST MASTERS.
The Beatles: John Lennon, George Harrison (vocals, guitar); Paul McCartney (vocals, bass); Ringo Starr (vocals, drums).
Additional personnel includes: Billy Preston (organ).
This "box set" from Capitol marked the first time that all of the original Beatles records appeared on compact disc. Along with the 13 albums, the label also included the excellent Past Masters, Vol. 1 and Past Masters, Vol. 2, both of which featured a treasure trove of B-sides, EP tracks, singles and foreign releases. ~ James Christopher Monger

A pricey, but nearly complete collection. (No live recordings, but who really wants those muddy tracks anyway?) If the Fab Four turned you on during the rowdy 1960's, then this musical montage is definitely for you. Yea, yea, yea.

A Wonderful Gift Which You'll Want to Keep for Yourself
The Beatles MultiSelection Set is absolutely the perfect gift. I ordered it as a Christmas gift for a colleague and was truly amazed at how quickly it arrived -- within 3 days. The box is a roll-up/down box (like the old-fashioned desks) and the CDs fit perfectly inside. I can't wait to give this wonderful gift. CD Universe was wonderful to deal with and I will do so again.

This has got to be the best box set I've seen for any band, but it's a tad bit expensive. Buying each album individually saves quite a bit of money compared to this set, but you don't get the cool box and booklet if you do that. Great collection!
