This remastered Steve Miller, is still my fav. Much more musical density than later works, and a real mix of soft and hard rocking with Paul on drums. If you havent heard the "old" Steve Miller - you missed the best part of his career

 Excellent Anthology
This two-disc set provides an excellent review of Steve Miller's material prior to his mid-seventies successes with "The Joker", "Fly Like An Eagle" and "Book of Dreams". This is the record to buy if you don't want to spend the time and effort to acquire his early works although I do heartily recommend "Sailor".

 Good Stuff
This is a great introduction to Steve Miller's early music. A must have for every classic rock fan... Lots of 'good stuff' here... Living in the U.S.A. Space Cowboy Don't You Let Nobody Turn You Around Going to the Country Just to name a few, plus ''My Dark Hour'' with Paul McCartney on bass and backing vocals from 1969.

 My favorate Steve Miller album
It dosen't get much better than this folks. If you only buy one Steve Miller album get this Anthology. The quality of lyrics and music compositions are amazing and are lacking in Steve's later works IMO.
