 Incredible Mix!
If your reading this then your most likely concerned about the 5.1 mix. I have five audiophile full range speakers w/o a subwoofer. The mix is fabulous, very adventurous with incredible fidelity. You know you want it if you've gotten this far! Highly Recommended...

 ELP DVD
I felt misled by the description of the DVD. It sounded like it was a video of the complete concert. I was disappainted to find out it was an audio dvd with some brief concert clips. Also the interactive menus do not function properly on my dvd player.

 A classic "gone wild"
6 channels was meant for ELP.It took thirty years for technology to catch up with them.Now that it has,it is like listening to a cosmatic orchestra.I could not hear the bonus tracks because I don't have a DVD-Audio.Bummer.Still worth the money though, and I highly recommend it.

 One of ELPs Best
Although one can tear down ELP as being overly excentric in their approach.. the fact remains they were far ahead of their time and one of the best bands of their era. BSS remains today a benchmark which few groups have been able to meet. This DVD-A is supurb. The mix brings out sounds and neuances in the recording that could never be heard before. The only problem with this particular DVD-A is that Rhino has produced it so you can only view the Videos and Lyrics with an actual DVD-A player. Unlike the Nightfly DVD-A which has the "bonus video" playable through any DVD player. So if you don't specifically have a DVD-A player you will miss out on some additional material as well as the menu showing those items. Bottom line.. this is very much worth getting and shows the great technology leap from CDs to DVD-As in terms of sound and experience level.
