Not their first album
There is actually one album before this one, but you had to be in the area when they were coming up to get it. This album is great though. Wouldn't recommend anything after art of drowning. Hell, that album is cutting it close. Besides, sporting a devillock is a lot better than looking like the crow.

Great!!
This is a great cd!! My favorite songs are Rizzo in the Box, Brownie Bottom Sundae, and Your Name Here. But all the songs are terrific! :D

Fantastic Album
Great first album! Awesome Bay Area punk, I love it. I personally like "I Wanna Get a Mowhawk (But Mom Won't Let Me Get One)", "Brownie Bottom Sundae", and "Ny-Quil".

AFI did something good?
I am not usually a fan of AFI but this album is truly incredible

Great Start
This cd, while probably AFI's worst, is still great. The sound isn't nearly focused or good as any of their other albums, but is a good effort for their first time. Songs like Two of A Kind, Don't Make Me Ill, and High School Football Hero really show off their talent as a punk band. Personally, I'm more of a fan of stuff really after Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes, but I will still somtimes come back to this CD to relive AFI beginings. And in response to another reveiw, this IS their fist album. Lots of people think that Very Proud of Ya came out first, but in reality, Answer That And Stay Fashonable came out in 1995, then was re-released on Nitro Records in 1997. The Wingnut version was probably better though, because it has a cover of the Police's "Man in the Suitcase."
