A Quiet Passion
When I first heard this album 30 years ago, it blew my doors off and I went straight in the ditch. Nobody was making music like this in the early 80s. And yes, she has a sultry, sensual voice -- if that voice don't make you wanna be a man, Jack, you dead.
But it's what is behind the presentation that brings it home. Lyrics and music present the lives, loves, dreams and sorrows of adults. This is not pop sensuality, playful, enticing and teasing. It's unlikely to appeal to teenagers in the throes of ego-driven angst or twenty-somethings with a seeming permanent itch between the legs. This music is for all of who have survived those travails and live in the real world.
I have only a handful of albums, collected over the years, that never fail to make me glad I love music. This is one of them. Every time I listen to it, I wonder why I waited so long to listen again.

Ooh Lah Lah It's SADE!
She has the sexiest voice on the planet. Plain and simple. No one I mean no one can top her vocals. Smooth and sultry and every song just ooozes with sensuality all over the place. Buy this CD and you will be hooked on SADE for the rest of your life. Pick up all her other CD's here. They are sure to please you. She is definitely a "SMOOTH OPERATOR". I rest my case.

Hot, cool, classy sex
This album is dripping with dark, primal lust. If I hear just one line of any of these songs, I gotta hear the whole song, the whole cd!, or I'll be pissed. I compare every new singer songwriter performer wanna be to Sade and they always lose. Can't believe we're on the same planet, but never will meet....
