Grande Juno!!!!!!!!!!! Submitted by Daniele (Italia;Ravenna) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Juno=love whether you like any electronic music or not, you will love this album. High energy and paced, it is a gem that most people have yet to uncover! which is a shame ben watkins has made some of the best music for the past 10-15 years, combining trance with eastern flavours and myriad of strange sounds, from aggressive bass lines to lush pads that soar. A testament to this is the last track, which is truely epic, like a music army off to war. All my friends love this cd, everytime we go out or there is a party it goes on, everyone has a copy and thats a group of people ranging from 16-22 all with varying musical tastes, its about the only thing we can agree on most the time lol its hard to describe wehat makes this album great. If you like some of the music of the matrix or animatirx then buy it, cus a few of juno's trcks featured on them, an then buy it cus it will be the best new thing you have ever heard! music, music, music... I love this album, and the best testament to its musical quality is the fact that everyone I know has bought a copy after hearing it, whatever their musical tastes!!

Essential Bible Absolutely Stunning! Juno Reactor surpasses even their own superb Beyond The Infinite with this, the best electronic album in years. Blending Techno, D&B, Eastern rhythms and myriad sounds, Bible of Dreams is that rare album that transcends all musical forms and immediately appeals to all who are fortunate enough to have a listen. My C&W brother and alternative sister both got dressed and drove right down to the CD shop! Buy this record! Flying Object Submitted by warchild63 (Alameda, CA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

| | James Brown Live At The Garden CDs (1967)
Bible Of Dreams
$23.98 Although the contents of this 1967 concert package have long been attributed to the Big Apple's Madison Square or Cinci's own Cincinnati Gardens -- which was only a stones-throw from King Records, Inc's Brewster Ave. digs -- neither is factually correct. Truth be told, the closest thing to a garden at the Latin Casino is that it resides in Cherry Hill, NJ -- the Garden State. It is here that Soul Brother # 1 brought the Fabulous Flames Orchestra & Revue to churn and burn their way through two sets a night between January 10 and 19, 1967. After several successful performances, Brown was so encouraged by the strength of his ensemble, the artist requested equipment be brought in to record a few sets for a potential live platter. When LIVE AT THE GARDEN hit the shelves -- less than five months later -- it contained highlights from the January 14 late show -- one of four sets that were documented during the run. The high-energy LP features Brown (vocals/organ), backed by an impressive incarnation of the Fabulous Flames Revue led by Alfred "Pee Wee" Ellis (musical director/tenor sax/organ) and centering around the combo of Bobby Byrd (vocals), Jimmy "Chank" Nolen (guitar), Alphonso "Country" Kellum (guitar/bass), Bernard Odom (bass), John "Jabo" Starks (drums), Clyde Stubblefield (drums), and Ronald Selico (drums/bongos). The ...
| | Mack 10 Soft White CD (2009) Bonus Track
Bible Of Dreams
$10.15 Near halfway through SOFT WHITE, his ninth record, Mack 10 drops the slick, `80s soul-jazz hearkening, smooth ballad "Hood Famous." It's both a catchy track and an apt summation of the Cali MC's place in the hip-hop world come 2009 - a legend ...
| | Pitbull Rebelution CD (2009)
Bible Of Dreams
$13.69 On the mistitled REBELUTION, rapper Pitbull takes a cue from his homeboy Flo Rida and dives headfirst into the lucrative world of ultra-slick Miami club-rap. The only stories of boat people found here are the kind about people who own yachts, and while the Cuban-American's songs of freedom are sorely missed, nothing in the man's back catalog could fill a dancefloor as quickly as the tech-house stunner "I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)." Same could said of the futuristic booty music "Krazy" with Lil Jon or "Hotel Room Service," which triple-mashes an old-school hit ("Rapper's Delight"), a 2 Live Crew classic ("One and One"), and a house music giant (the Nightcrawlers' "Push the Feeling On"). Even when ...
| | Prodigy Fat Of The Land CD (1997)
Bible Of Dreams
$10.29 FAT OF THE LAND was nominated for a 1998 Grammy for Best Rock Album.
Among the most anticipated releases of 1997, The Prodigy's third full-length album is a bulldozing rock-techno hybrid. But while the guitar/samples/hyper-beats mosaic that made "Firestarter" an MTV breakout are found in every nook and cranny of this album, the overall building blocks are far more diverse, making it a tangible melting pot of pre-millennium pop styles.
There's a definite hip-hop element here. "Diesel Power," which features quality mic control by Kool Keith (of Ultramagnetic MCs and Dr. Octagon fame), is new-style hip-hop sculpture, applying ...

| | Bela Fleck Hidden Land CD (2006)
Bible Of Dreams
$9.99 Bela Fleck's progressive fusion of jazz, bluegrass, classical, rock, and anything else he can get his hands on has been surprising listeners for some time now. 2006's THE HIDDEN LAND offers more of the same, though "sameness" for Fleck is liberated from its usual meaning. For example, the elaborate riff on Bach's "Fugue from Prelude & Fugue No. 20" that opens the disc is a stylistic whiplash that manages to incorporate bop, swing, funk, and psychedelia while still honoring the spirit of the original.
Fleck's genre-smashing banjo playing is enough to win the heart of any adventurous listener, but his Flecktones--who ...

| | Jonathan Kimball Optimisms CD (2009)
Bible Of Dreams
$11.39 It seems Jonathan Kimball can't help but make great music. With a background of collaborating in progressive rock, roots reggae, punk, and ska bands - no one would have expected his solo masterpiece would sound so beautiful and delicate. It ranges from traditional vocal harmony-driven folk, to bluesy slide jams, to psychedelic soundscapes, topped off with jazzy horn instrumentals that fit together nicely as a debut release for this emerging alt-folk singer-songwriter. His self-produced debut solo record, ...
