Veteran West Coast rapper has been around the block enough times to have something to say about it, and listening to his impassive, masterful depiction of the gangsta lifestyle on THE SHADIEST ONE is somewhat akin to reading Mario Puzo's detailed, ... Full Descriptionunflinching accounts of Mafia life. You're spared neither the gritty aspects of the tale nor the unavoidably human ones. Aided in his endeavors by longtime West Coast compatriot Ice Cube, as well as Too Short, E-40 and CJ Mac, WC shades his tunes with touches of funk and R&B, and keeps the arrangements eerily atmospheric, so as to provide the proper setting for his grim underworld visions on THE SHADIEST ONE.

classic W.C., originally part of a early 90's Los Angeles rap trio The Maad Circle to the mid-90's with his patnaz Ice Cube & Mack 10 formed a group called Westside Connection, my Locc W.C. drops hard unlike on Ghetto Heismen, The Shadiest One has more Dope beats, is waay harder and in some songs like The Shadiest One featuring CJ Mac, is Hard, Heavy & Grim. W.C.'s most popular hit on hear was the song Just Clownin', yet W.C. can't go soft with the song Like That featuring CJ Mac & Mack 10, just another Heavy Hitter. W.C. goes crazy loco with his boys in the Maad Circle on the song It's All Bad. W.C. has proven to be a true Locc, and a West Coast Heavy Hitter.
Dub's best are 1, 3, *4, 5, 6, *7, 8, 9, *10, 11, 12, 13, *15, 16 & 17.

Dub U just clownin this album is not as good as all the magazines and critics rave bout it. The single was aight but do not get this or if u like dub then get it, ilike him but not this cd, this cd is "just clownin" and yes dub "It's All Bad". $11.99 With an innovative idea, (a double disc with divided between West and East coasts), Kurupt packs some impressive jams onto his Antra/A&M solo debut, KURUPTION. Giving each coast at least 10 tracks to flip over, Kurupt enlists a super team of producers to help him complete his mission. His Dogg Pound partner Daz, L.A. beat-maker Battlecat, Bay area producer Studiotone, funk freaker Priest "Soopafly" Brooks, D-Moet and newcomer Storm from the Wu-Tang Clan serve up thick slices of sonic butter. Some of the tracks that stand out on the West Coast side are "Make Some Noise," "That's Gangsta" and "Play My Cards." The first single "We Can Freak It," features a slick East Coast remix by Stevie J and an appearance from Noreaga. In addition, Dr. Dre lends his production talents to "Ask Yourself A Question."

While this dynamic, Jodeci-originated R&B duo have made their reputation as kings of sensual, even erotic, R&B, leaving no doubt as to the main topic on their collective mind, LOVE ALWAYS finds them pulling back the hedonistic reins a bit. The approach here is much more subtle, and at the same time, more romantic. In sharp contrast to their hardcore days of yore, there's an almost spiritual quality that comes through here, and the music is the richer for it. Naturally, the Hailey Brothers still possess the same authoritative vocal style that made them such an R&B sensation in the first place. Think of LOVE ALWAYS then as not a retreat from their previous work, but a refinement.
