Meant to be uncomfortable
This is an album that is meant to be hard to listen to, because there is absolutly no melody what so ever, & it forces the listener to be more attentive than just popping on a normal album & grooving out to it. Being that is the point, & in realizing so will allow one to appreciate the experimental genius that is Mike Patton. With that in mind, this is an experimentation in the strange. Image doing a whack of acid, sitting in a room with nothing but darkness & a microphone. Let your imagination run wild & you are left with Adult Themes For Voice.

flabbergasmic
Everything that is creative isn't good. But I will say, that some of this is ideal for a good laugh, or to scare a ghost out of your house. I like Patton because he is individual, but I wouldn't buy this just to sit and listen to. His stuff belongs in movies. I enjoyed the work he did on Bjork's album Medulla, very good stuff it was. This guy is one of a kind, and that is for sure.

Patton isn't born on earth
A great lesson of creativity. Weird, dirty, but so interesting!

this is not art. this is insanity
patton needs to check in to the mental institute because clearly he has some issues. no human in their right mind can justify this piece of crap. experimental is one thing, but this is just downright insane. never have i heard such garbage.

What the Hell Was He Thinking?
Patton is GOD! He makes noises with a microphone I didn't know were possible. There are some very soothing sounds on this record but very edging, ear-rattling noises. I like to sit through the whole thing. Some of these sounds make me bust into laughter. If you don't like really weird stuff, don't even bother. If you do, it's a most.
