Warm, deep and a real jewel
It is one of Part´s best jobs. A real jewel for a day in which you need warmth, depth and be with yourself.

Poignant
I'm no critic, but in my opinion, to fully appreciate this music you can't rush it. Its powerful, that builds over time, in the right situation it has the ability to create, change and influence mood and situations. Its simple and yet so effective. I originally heard this piece while watching a movie, and have subsequently heard it used in others too. That may very well have developed more meaning into this music than if I hadn't seen it.

Soft and gentle
Arvo Pärt is a very spiritual composer and most of his compositions are very intense. They are not created to " entertain" and it's not easy listening.
Alina is different. Alina is soft and gentle, without becoming superficial or shallow. It's deeply relaxing music, like watching a butterfly in summer, or listening to the snow fall in winter.
I would recommend this music to everybody who wants to connect to peace and silence with a smile.

My name is Alina and i know i'm not the only one...
well...for me this song is the sadest i've ever heard...and ever since i heard it i have the exact same feeling each and every key piano of "Fur Alina"...i cant describe it...i thank Alexander Malter for the song. And i'm sure it's just a coincidence that my name is alina.
