4 stars A Meditating Witch
In my opinion(not like it matterz), I didnt really care for this CD at first. After listening to it a couple times it grew on me..personally, this cd calms me..Favorite song is the first one "Toward's Eternity".

5 stars Amazing musician and still the fire burns!
If your looking for true black/death metal or what ever you want to call it, this is a band that has talent and a true embrace of what evil is and what heavy metal can be and if your looking for shredding guitars and vocal mayhem with doses of evil keyboards then you've got Old Man's chlid to experience and if you have'nt then you sholud be a shamed! (to be honest Galder is better in OMC than Dimmu Borgir)

I liked everything about this CD - every song was good; had catchy rythems; had clear vocals; liked what the lyrics had to say and they were easy to read; this CD really connected with me - perfect music! Note: I also gave their other CD, "The Pagan Prosperity", 5 stars, and consider both CDs to be exceptional!

Words cannot do this album enough justice. This is a truly glorious metal release, certainly Death's finest hour, and easily one of the top metal albums of all time. The sheer ferocity and emotion that channels through each of the intricate, progressive guitar melodies shatters every low opinion of the American metal scene. When you combine Chuck Schuldiner's shrieking vocals (his eeriest performance ever) with the most talented, cohesive lineup yet, you get the definitive Death album. The album is more aggressive, more progressive, and certainly more melodic.
