I BIFICUS in an Enhanced CD that contains regular audio tracks and multimedia computer files.
If you buy this one on the basis of the video for "Moment of Weakness," you'll be surprised by a couple of things: first, that Bif's stylistic range embraces much more than that song's tightly constructed pop-punk roar; second that "I Died" and "Spaceman" are both plain old anthemic guitar rock; third, that "Lucky" is a low-key and gently cathartic ballad; and finally, that "Chotee" is old-school, three-chord punk in the tradition of the Ramones. Another surprising element is her seriousness. The exuberantly goofy persona she exhibits on talk shows and in the "Moment of Weakness" video is not evident on any of these songs (though it raises its cockeyed head repeatedly throughout the handwritten liner notes). Her topics -- which include a failed marriage, extraterrestrials who never come to abduct her even though she's ready and waiting, and her own straight-edge (i.e.drug-free) lifestyle -- are generally dealt with quite earnestly, if not terribly deeply. The final product is really very good, though few other songs approach the perfect disposability of the single. ~ Rick Anderson

Too incredible for words For years Bif Naked has blown me away. Every album, "4 Songs and a Poem", "Okenspay Ordway", all of them, each track is something special. Bif has never ceased in amazing me with her real-life works about real-life issues. And she's done it again. Not a single track is fluff, it's all rock-hard feeling, raw emotion, and Bif's voice carries it with an unimaginable passion. From songs about the cruelty of the world ("Violence"), abortion ("Chotee"), or just the mere striving will to live another day ("Any Day Now"), Bif will succeed in hitting a nerve somewhere in you with at the very least, one song, and you'll sit back in awe thinking "I know what she means!". It's too bad they left out some stuff in the American version, but this is an album anyone with a soul will love.

Bif is Buff Great disc! Bif is not afraid to pour a ton of emotion into her work. Great guitar work, lyrics, and percussion. If you think "I Love myself today" is all the Bif there is, better get this one! It will not disappoint. Mom....can Bif come over to play? Great album!!! I bought Bif Naked's latest release, then I purchased this album. I was not disappointed! I remember hearing one song from this album, "Lucky", on the earlier Buffy T.V.S. TV soundtrack. I wasn't sure if it was a female vocal or male, but now of course I know she's female! That song was sung in a deeper vocal range than many of her other songs on "I Bifcus", but similar in other ways to her catchy, original songs. She has quite a vocal range
and sings strongly and uniquely. She sings about her life experiences, with wit and honesty. I love her albums! Submitted by a reviewer (U.S. military in Germany) Was This Review Helpful? YesNo
Bif Rocks I love this cd. It's been a while since I've purchased a cd that I can listen to from beginning to end without getting bored. I strongly recommend this one. Submitted by a reviewer (Toledo, OH) Was This Review Helpful? YesNo
worth an airing album was true to form decent rock with mellow interludes, somewhat odd lyrics at times but generally worth a listen, a good album to listen to when wanting drums and guitar without the complete mad shouting of some artists.
