Can't Stand The Rezillos: The (Almost) Complete Rezillos CD

 Great band, great album
The Rezillos / Revillos were a GREAT rock & roll band. "Somebody's Gonna Get Their Head Kicked In" is a humorous, though loving, jab at punk. That's what the Revs are all about: humor. If you don't have any of their albums, first pick up "REV UP" (Revillos), which is their masterpeice. Then, pick this one up. Or get them both NOW!

 One of the best new wave/punk bands you never heard of
I remember staring at this album in 1978 in the EJ Korvettes discount department store;the Imports section stocked by JEM records. It took me a few months of re-staring at it to get up the courage to buy it. Who ever heard of this group in the USA? The immediate attraction was of course the Dalek on the cover as well as the song Thunderbirds Are Go! Gee what's this about? I have to say it's still one of my favorites. 25 years later I searched the Intenet and looking for some good music. (hey it was only made in the late 70's and early eighties), I discovered the successors to the Rezillos, Yes the Revillos! You should too. they're a little more prolific and popier that the Rezillos. But still unknown in the USA. I recommend all the revillos albums too

 This is what punk was all about
This band was one of the most exciting live bands around during the UK punk scene. They were somewhat unusual for their time in that they could all play their instruments. Faye Fife and Eugene Reynolds were just so manic in their stage presence. This album represents high-energy rock 'n' roll at it's very best. I defy you to stay in your seat! Remember the pogo!
