Movie composer's 10 year retrospective covering much of his work for Balkan director Emir Kusturica as well as to the movies Toxic Affair and La Reine Margot. Features an assortmant of unexpected artists such as Iggy Pop's vocals on the EZ-listening pop of 'TV Screen', a narration by Johnny Depp on 'American Dreamers' and the crooning of dark angel Scott Walker on 'Man From Reno'. The liner notes say that the tracks on Ederlezi are songs for weddings and funerals.

5 stars There is nothing better
Goran Bregovic is the best living composer. Always fresh no matter how many times I listen, his music rings in the head no matter where I go. Ederlezi is my favorite song, but it is only the tip of the iceberg. We all owe Emir Kusturica a debt of gratitude for bringing this talent from Yugoslavia to international light.
