Ori Release '98. The first live album to feature lead singer Tim Ripper Owens 24 Trax. 98 Live Meltdown Music Review Average Rating: (4.5 out of 5 stars) Ripper replaces Rob!! HAlford has been imitated but now finally duplicated, Ripper does all the Priest classics perfectly!! Great record!! Submitted by a reviewer (Box 64 Chapel's Cove, NL) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Best live album ever! YES! This live album has it all. Tracks from most JP albums (except Rocka Rolla, Point Of Entry, Turbo, and Ram It Down which is why it has 4 stars.), great feel of the crowd, and loud bone crushing metal delivered by new frontman Tim "Ripper" Owens. This is my personal favorite live album because of the great production and variety of songs. If it were my choice I would have added another CD to make sure all Priest fans are satisfied with the song selection but if you don't like Tim Owens much and want Halford back, THEN GET THIS CD!!! It's different than Jugulator or Demolition, Ripper is better live than in the studio and this album will not at all be a disapointment to you. If you don't own this then you don't know what your missing. Submitted by williamje2002 (San Antonio, TX) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

98 Live Meltdown album
$10.85 RETURN OF SATURN was nominated for the 2001 Grammy Award for Best Rock Album.
Pop-ska rockers No Doubt make their long-awaited return with the follow-up to the hugely successful TRAGIC KINGDOM. The band's fiery dynamic remains intact as vocalist Gwen Stefani's penchant for emotionally charged tales of heartbreak drive the single "Ex-Girlfriend," "Simple Kind Of Life" and "Bath Water." In "The Magic's In The Makeup," Stefani's lyrics speak of yearning to be appreciated beyond surface beauty for who she really is while the band reaches for a thicker sound and more complex arrangements.
Illusions and metaphors exploring the darker side of love set the tone of "Artificial Sweetener." "Marry Me" uses a melodic, ...

98 Live Meltdown CD music
$14.44 Dream Theater's tenth long-player is about as dense and challenging as any album in the band's discography and emphasizes not only the virtuoso members' stupefying musicianship, but also their most aggressive and thoroughly metallic songwriting tendencies. The sixteen-minute opener "A Nightmare to Remember" quickly establishes this agenda via frequently thrash-paced staccato riffing, some of John Petrucci's most blistering guitar solos ever, and the return of drummer Mike Portnoy's syncopated growls, which provide contrast for singer James LaBrie's soaring melodic elegance. "The Count of Tuscany" is a heady prog-metal magnum opus brimming with more ideas, notes, and time changes over 19 minutes than most bands ...

98 Live Meltdown music CDs
$7.99 Everyone's been talking about that new African reggae artist. They call him Doc Enigma, a young singer/song writer straight from the heart of West Africa. He's emerging from the underground reggae scene and has now release his first solo debut. Doc is most notable for his highly unique voice both sharp and melodic, having the power to make a whole crowd stop and listen. Armed with conscious lyrics and sweet melodies, Doc Enigma is something of a phenomenon. In his debut album, Afrikan Soul, Doc Enigma takes the listener on a journey of self-discovery, politics, love, and enlightenment. The tracks are carefully laid out beginning with an ode to his sense to his sense of identity in the hypnotic “Afrikan Soul” and “From Di Motherland”. Next, Doc Enigma stuns us with piercing words on suicide bombers and terrorism in the social ...

98 Live Meltdown album
$12.49 The second album that Pentagram recorded as a duo and their fifth overall, SUB-BASEMENT came out in 2001 around the time when doom metal finally began reaching a wider audience--30 years after Pentagram helped spawn it. With founder Bobby Liebling on vocals and Joe Hasselvander on everything else, SUB-BASEMENT sounds nothing like the doom of its contemporaries, instead revelling in a hard-rock swagger as the band emphasizes the Blue Cheer elements of their formula over the Sabbath ones. Remarkably, despite modern technology, Liebling and Hasselvander ...
