The Crazy World Of Authur Brown - self-titled (Polydor)
Looks to be the debut record from the zany Mr.Brown.Originally released in 1968.There are both mono/stereo edits of "Prelude-Nightmare","Fanfare-Fire Poem",his smash hit "Fire" plus two more.Didn't know it until now,but Atomic Rooster's Vincent Crane is the organ player here.Liked their gritty cover of James Brown's "I've Got Money".Might appeal to some fans of Love,Syd Barrett,West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band and H.P.Lovecraft.

London 67'
Arthur Brown's "The Crazy World of Arthur Brown" is a bizarre mix of British psychedelia and soul. Musically the album is heavily keyboard based with a lot of trippy sounds similar to Pink Floyd's "Piper." But, this album is less accessible than most British-psych. His deep bassed vocals are a blend of blues and soul and sometimes occasionally he springs into silly spoken lyrics. The album is unique though, and for those obsessed with British psych this is important to your collection.
