Dap Daniel is a Bay Area native raised in Central Richmond in one of the most notorious hoods in Northern Cali, known as 6th Street. Dap Daniel has been making noise in The Bay Area since 1990 with his crew the BroHydes. With numerous underground joints already under his belt Dap Daniel’s most recent major work was in 2005, where he wrote and recorded three songs for the Lion’s Gate motion picture and soundtrack, titled RIZE. The soundtrack, available through EMI, boasts a heavyweight lineup consisting of Dap Daniel, Flii Stylz, and Christina Aguilera just to name a few.
