Hellbound Music Review Average Rating: (5 out of 5 stars)  A good to have for metal fans, a must have for Warlock/Doro
Every album Warlock made is good. This one is great, the energy is high and intense. With a medlodic edge, all the insterments sound great. Doro's vocals are great and the album is well mixed. It stands up lyrically as well. The subjects in the lyrics are that of; feel the fire of metal, the demon is coming, shout, fight and stand strong, don't leave me alone, last stand. I found it a little hard to hear the lyrics clearly, but they are included with the disk. In addition to all this the bands sound and style is ever present. On a scale from 1 to 10, I would give this album a 9 1/2.

Dutch Metal band Vengeance was snapped up by CBS Records after company men from A&R witnessed their debut gig in 1983. The group had formed with guitarist Arjen Lucassen (AYREON) who was soon replaced by vocalist Leon Goewie. The group released their self-titled debut album in July 1984, followed by the quite stunning "We Have Ways To Make You Rock" album a year later. Vengeance was one of the leading European hard rock bands during the 80s and 90s. This is the 2006 "comeback" album featuring Leon Goewie, Barend Courbois, Michael Eurich, Michael Voss, and as a very special guest, founding member Arjen Lucassen on guitar and Mat Sinner for background vocals!
