Full DescriptionBlack Crowes to be his back-up band for a mini-tour later that year. Recorded during a pair of sold-out shows at Los Angeles' Greek Theatre, these sets are dominated by Led Zeppelin tunes, along with a mix of classic blues nuggets and covers of Fleetwood Mac and Page's first group, The Yardbirds. (Due to contractual obligations, no Crowes songs are included here).
Chris Robinson's soulful singing ably fills in for Robert Plant's caterwaul, particularly with the sinister "In My Time of Dying" and the bluesy drawl of Willie Dixon's "You Shook Me." Guitarists Rich Robinson and Audley Freed provide stellar sounding layers of depth behind Page's playing, whether on the chiming "Hey Hey What Can I Do," or the hard-hitting swagger of "Nobody's Fault But Mine." From the non-Zeppelin material, the Crowes and Page soar on covers of the B.B. King shuffle "Woke Up This Morning" and the Chicago blues stomp of Jimmy Rogers' "Sloppy Drunk."
Japanese version includes the US bonus track, 'Mellow Down Easy' as well as two more exclusive tracks to this Japanese pressing, 'In The Light' & 'Misty Mountain Hop'. 22 tracks in total, includes a bonus sticker to the initial pressing only and also includes a bonus lyrics booklet!

All tracks were recorded during AC/DC's 1990-1991 world tour. Originally released as Atco (92212). The 2003 edition of AC/DC LIVE includes liner notes by Don Kaye.
AC/DC reclaimed its status as gutbucket rock n' rollers to be reckoned with on this searing double-disc live set. The year was 1992, more than 15 years after the group's first recording. By this point, the band was approaching middle age, a time when most rockers settle into the lazy comfort of their genres. From the opening guitar shards of "Thunderstruck," it is clear no such concessions have been made. The bass drum falls in, not so much a timekeeper as an underground detonation device, and the repeated cries of "thunder!" gain volume like an approaching army. The difference being that this is an army with one mission and one mission only: to knock the lights out of anyone within earshot.
