5 stars Voicing the Past
Ms. Frances Gershwin is one of the finest interpreters of her brothers' music that I have heard. There is a charm and personality never before heard from other artists. As a several decades' fan of the Gershwins I feel connected to the eras of which she sings. Surely George and Ira were in the rooms where she sang their songs as their presence is felt. I wish that she had made more recordings, including other composers such as Jerome Kern, etc. Tony Hayden
