| | Bobby Vinton Roses Are Red CD Bobby Vinton Discography of CDs
Personnel: Bobby Vinton (vocals). Though far too brief at just over 25 minutes, Roses Are Red is a solid budget-line compilation of Bobby Vinton's hits; in addition to the title track it includes "Blue on Blue," "Mr. Lonely," "There! I've Said It Again" and the immortal "Blue Velvet," and as a result is probably all that a casual Vinton fan might ever need. ~ Jason Ankeny Bobby Vinton Roses Are Red Songs | 1. | Roses Are Red (My Love) | $0.99 | |

$7.83 Giorgio Moroder did a lot of soundtrack work during the early '80s, and one of his most well-known soundtracks is that of Scarface, the iconic Al Pacino film from 1983. Of all the films Moroder scored, from American Gigolo (1980) and Flashdance (1983) to Electric Dreams (1984) and The Never Ending Story (1984), Scarface is undoubtedly the one that withstood the test of time most impressively, growing in popularity as the years passed (culminating ...

Roses Are Red
$53.89 A punk rock landmark if ever there was one, Discharge's Hear Nothing, See Nothing, Say Nothing is one of the most bleak, angry albums to ever grace the underground. The album is important on all sorts of levels, from what it did to the British hardcore scene to the long-lasting effect it had on heavy metal. And the worst part is that time has slowly erased the album from the minds of punk rockers, although the heavy metal tendencies of the band had always made them outcasts in their own scene. But this is the real thing, filled with bitter tirades against the government and predicting all-out nuclear destruction with chilling detail. The unrelenting pound of the music would create a huge movement in the hardcore world, starting first in their ...
| | White Noise An Electric Storm CD (2007) Import
Roses Are Red
$11.65 Digitally remastered reissue of this ambitious 1969 album. Cited as an influence by Aphex Twin and Chemical Brothers, White Noise's An Electric Storm was the work of American-born David Vorhaus, Delia Derbyshire (who had created the electronic version of the `Doctor Who' theme for the BBC) and Brian Hodgson. The album was surprising for the fact that two of the three members were not long-haired Rock musicians, but were respected pioneers of Electronic music who worked at the BBC's legendary Radiophonic Workshop. Universal.
An Electric Storm is justly renowned among techno boffins as one of the first albums to fuse pop and electronic music before the advent of the Moog synthesizer. But you don't have to be versed in the language of sine waves and oscillators to enjoy this mostly delightful and hugely inventive album. For although the White Noise were almost exclusively composed of virtuoso knob twiddlers and tape splicers moonlighting from the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, luckily they were no slouches when it came to penning a decent tune. There's also anarchic humor at play on the manic "Here Come the Fleas," which contains more edits in its two minutes than the whole of ...
| | Meech Cannon Hyprhythmic CD (2007)
Roses Are Red
$12.65 Review:Taxi Review of Debut Single "HYPRHYTHMIC"Taxi - August 15, 2006"I love having to critique songs like this. It has a unique twist to it. All tho it can somewhat remind one of an artist like R Kelly or Sisqo, the beats are a little more rugged and street then what they were doing. Meech voice is great, and he knows how to keep a good tone. The chorus for the song is strong and vocally Meech is great. Production wise the song is great. Keep the good music coming" The melody had good music in verses, and in choruses. The structure is well written and has good sectional contrast. The lyrics are cohesive; exhibit a good use of imagery; communicates emotion to listener, and the vocal does help to sell the song. Meech "definitely knows when to bring hook/chorus in."Meech Cannon Bio:Meech Canon's debut CD, HYPRHYTHMIC (Hip rea da mick), is jam-packed with hardcore beats that get 'cha right in the chest as well as a rugged-yet-smooth vocal delivery. While HYPRHYTHMIC blazes on the cutting edge of the hottest in urban music today, Meech Cannon also pulls personal influence from the early legends of soul. His club bangers will leave DJs and their patrons thoroughly satisfied and his slow jams will have women screaming for more. Born in Chicago, Meech came from musical parents, blues artists who were popular in the South and toured extensively until they settled down to raise nine children. This environment provided the emotional and artistic spark which galvanized Meech with the drive and talent he would later unleash within his own career. With looks to match his vocal chops, he has even landed film roles in The Fugitive and Save the Last Dance, quite an accolade for an up-and-coming R&B artist. Clearly, Meech's talents are broad and far-reaching. Influenced by the likes of many R&B and Hip Hop artists, both old and new, he creates his own style by fusing together the smoothness of R&B, and the depths of Soul pulverized in Hip Hop, better known as HYPRHYTHMIC. His character displays the multifaceted style of his artistry. He sings R&B, he sings Soul, he sings Hip Hop, he raps and he croons. His style is unique in that he has found a way to incorporate the many dimensions of his soul through his lyrics in HYPRHYTHMIC. This is his genre of music. It fills his soul and allows him to display the depths and totality of his talent. It shows the sexy, and sensual, the sensitive and debonair and, the playful, rough edge of Meech Cannon. HYPRHYTHMIC blends all the many faces of Meech into one. His charismatic presence is guaranteed to touch your soul. Meech describes HYPRHYTHMIC (Hip rea tha mick) as the smooth sound of R&B with a twist of Hip Hop. ...
