The recording title Historia came to us by the inspiration of the exciting variety and fusion of all the musical genres included in this recording. It also reflects the story of our duo. We began playing together in order to fulfill a credit at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and our friendship, talent, and musical tastes brought together a dynamic and close collaboration afterwards. The recording reflects the culmination of our work together, and after many recitals and concerts later, we decided to put together this program of tangos, spanish dances, folk dance, and jazz standards as a mark of "Historia" in our careers.
