Jack Farina, a great drummer and educational master for over 45 years, has had a big band that swings provliding fun, easy listening, dancing at its best, and warm sounds to the delights of everyone who hears or see the band in person. this CD is the debut CD for Jack to spotlight his personell and includ six original conpositions by Bruce L Warden, the title song being "Mister Groovy Groundhog" with a vocal Manhattan Transfer type quartet of Mike Williamson, Patte Armato-Lund, Jodi Beach, and Bruce L Warden, singing the theme of Groundhog Day. A smooth Latin called "Come With Me" with Bruce L Warden on vocal. Benny jackson does a great jump feel on "My Plea". Mike Williamson and Patte Armato-Lund do a Steve & Eddy vocal duo on the ujpbeat latin, "Love Me, Please!" Ms. Josi Beach torches it out on a solo vocal with "Your Love, Your Kiss." Bruce L Warden grooves a swingin' jump vocal on "Chocolate At the Candy Store". The other six cuts are well known swing band selections that fit the Jack Farina Big Band.
