This fine collection of trance classics is a must for casual listener and serious dance aficionado alike. Featuring such gems as Miss Jane's disembodied ingenue vocals on "It's a Fine Day" and Ian Van Dahl's ethereal "Castles in the Sky," TRANCE PARTY VOL.1 will recall the heady days of '90s warehouse raves for some and last weekend's hangover for others. It provides an irresistible dance beat sugar-coated with rarified instrumental concepts limited only by the imaginations of their creators.
Zombie Nation's motorik "Kernkraft 400" recalls both Kraftwerk and Nine Inch Nails, while So Real's "You Take My Breath Away" is pure pop confection over a throbbing trance beat that finds an echo in Kate Ryan's timeless "Scream For More." it's a good mix of songs that everybody will remember and some real cool new ones that I never heard before. All in all a good dance mix disk for the party that doesnt have a dj.

It's all flawless except for the weakest track on the album, #13. Escape is my favorite full-length trance song of all time and I love all the others, particularly Can't Keep Me Silent, Toca's MIracle, Look At Us, and Kernkraft. Just... awesome...

omgosh, let me tell you..i've had this album for a long time..and oh my homosexual, you will not believe how hott this CD is. i jam out to it everywhere...i love 'It's A Fine Day' and 'On The Beach' as well as 'Omnibus'!!! and 'Can't Keep Me Silent' oh boy, the whole album..GREAT!!!

Great track selection
The tracks selected are great, although some of them are not really trance music but house and club music. The music mix is good although it would be better to have the long mix version but they won't fit in a single CD.
