 Classic fun
1980*F has arrived ! I have awaited this, since building my CD collection...Fun music, Including "Der Kommossar", "Starflight" & the above mentioned 1980* f (the melting point of copper)

 After the Fire - Der Kommissar
This Sony album was better than I expected. I'm not much for '80's synth-rock, which most of this album was, but these songs were all enjoyable. The song "Der Kommissar" was the reason I bought the album, and it is as great as I remember it. Nice version. Among the surprises were the instrumentals, "1980-F" and "Joy." Nice tunes, nicely done, interesting keyboard work. The author of the liner notes was a little off, identifying the Peter Banks of ATF with the Peter Banks of Yes and Flash, a mistake. But the music is good. Many albums have one good tune and the rest are mediocre at best, but I've enjoyed the whole album - a pleasant surprise.
