Excellent foundation
British Steel is a must-have for anyone who is not only a serious metal fan, but also a Judas Priest fan. The music is hard-driving, basic, and not over-produced. The music and lyrics are kept simple and lay a great foundation for all Judas Priest music that would follow. It's a definite winner!

Brings Back Fond Memories
This is the first thing I ever heard by JP when I was just a little kid. I recall first hearing it on vinyl. Alas! Those were the days. But nevertheless, it translates excellent onto CD, what with the digital remastering and all. This is an outstanding Priest album with several wonderfully crafted metal tracks. Among them are Breaking the Law, United, Grinder, Living After Midnight, and, who can forget, Rapid Fire. If you only buy one JP release in your entire life, make it this one.
