Turk, an eager representative of the Cash Money crew (B.G., Juvenile, etc.), shares an important characteristic with his labelmates; he's overwhelmingly enamored of America's legacy of violence and criminality. Even when he's making confident declarations of his sexual prowess, he sounds like he's delivering a call to arms. Unlike some rappers of the "thug" persuasion, Turk doesn't seem to be at all conflicted about the everyday presence of murder and mayhem in his world. On such tunes as "It's in Me," he takes a resigned, existential attitude toward his role as a street hood. It's this clear-eyed acceptance that lends believability to the image Turk presents throughout YOUNG & THUGGIN. Of course, the funky, minimalist beats underlying his raps don't hurt Turk's case either.

Whats up???Everybody this album is very hott!Turk really be spitting on this album and the beats are mad tight.The best song is "Its in Me"and"Trife Livin"If you have a set in the car or house I advise you cop the album and let it ride.Cashmoney is missing a tight artist!!!!
