I HAVE BEEN A AVID FAN OF CHET ATKINS FOR OVER 50 YEARS. HIS STYLE AND SELECTION OF SONGS HAS ALWAYS BEEN ON TARGET. IN HIS 1961 ALBUM HE DEMONSTRATED HIS COUNTRY ROOTS. THIS ALBUM IS A DEFINITE EXTENSION OF HIS ARTISTRY AND IS A PERFECT COMPANION TO HIS 1961 ALBUM

This is just the music to put you in the holiday spirit. Look up the word "Guitar" in the dictionary and you'll find a picture of Chet Atkins. His genuis guitar playing combined with holiday music is truly remarkable.

For many of the traditional Christmas songs, such as "O Come All Ye Faithful" and the medley, "The Coventry Carol/God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen," Atkins plays a nylon-stringed acoustic guitar in a classical vein.
