Great CD,Joe has a little bit of a lot of great styles like Eric Johnson,Stevie Ray Vaughn,Kenny Wayne Shepperd,Duane Allman & Johnny Winter.Tight & upbeat songs with really good guitar licks.There's not a bad song on the CD.

Joe Bonamassa is one of the best guitar players I've ever heard, and I've listened to a lot of blues. The more I play the CD, the more I like it. His playing is diverse and voice sultry. If I had to drive all day, I wouldn't miss an opportunity to see him live.

Cradle Rock kicks off this magnificent initial solo release by Joe. Simply put, if you dig the blues and great blues players... then BUY IT !! Joe will be the next 5 year overnight sensation.. buy it and you won't be disappointed.

I heard one the song almost by mistake on last.fm and fell in love instantly.
The whole album is awesome, best guitar ive heard. sort of like eric johnson. Went to buy the CD the same day and really not disapointed. Best purchase so far this year lol. This guy has talent and will make people fall in love again with blues music. Great Job !!

This is the music that I describe as “Galax” or “Mt. Airy” bluegrass - the sound and style that evoke memories of Ted Lundy, Larry Richardson, Roy McMillan, Joe Edd King, Joe Greene and countless others. The rhythm and timing are solid, the instrumental work is clean and tasteful, and the vocals are heartfelt. The music is hard-edged with a live flavor, not honed to perfection by repeated takes and overdubs. UP! marks Shania Twain's emergence from a five-year hiatus that found her absconding to Switzerland and having a child with husband/producer/collaborator Robert "Mutt" Lange. As ever, Twain continues to be the master of the pop crossover. This time around, she takes 19 songs presents two different versions of each, divided between a pair of discs. CD 1 (the "Red CD") features more rock-flavored versions as opposed to CD2 (the "Green CD"), which includes considerably more pedal steel guitar et al.
Regardless of the genre, Twain and Lange continue to make a formidable pop-writing team. The two manage to craft catchy cuts on topics ranging from mundane situations in a relationship like who's behind the wheel (the sassy "In My Car [I'll Be The Driver]") to weightier fare like rampant materialism (a mechanized "Ka-Ching!") and female empowerment (the soaring "She's Not Just A Pretty Face"). Otherwise, Twain tills the fertile nuances of romance via convincing balladry that touches on dalliances with the green-eyed devil (a heartfelt "I'm Jealous") and rock-solid pledges of fidelity (an ethereal "Forever And For Always") guaranteed to be 2003's quintessential wedding song.

Josh Rouse's follow-up to his critically acclaimed album 1972 ventures still deeper into the territory of mellow, nostalgia-tinged '70s FM radio, and this time the results are a little less Philly soul and a little more Laurel Canyon. The gently lilting "Winter in the Hamptons" and "Saturday" find Rouse nestled comfortably between the Rolling Stones' "Tops" and Bob Dylan's "Sweetheart Like You" on the jukebox, while "Carolina" is so light it could make James Taylor cry into his lemonade.
