5 stars Matt gets his due!
Matt Monro, the great British song stylist is at last given a retropective worthy of his great talent. Often called "The British Sinatra," this in fact is a disservice to this great singer. Monro is a great singer in his own right. The sound quality on this issue is better than the previous cd issues. The only major complaint is the lack of a discography. There is no mention of the conductor, arranger or year the recordings were made on any of the songs. This is a serious omission. This information is especially valuable to collectors. Other than that, the collection is wonderful!
