WORD OF MOUF was nominated for the 2003 Grammy Awards for Best Rap Album.
"Rollout (My Business)" was nominated for the 2003 Grammy Awards for Male Rap Solo Performance.
For this Atlanta-based rapper, keeping true to street roots has never been a concern, since he's always remained so close to them. Far from the east and west coast hip-hop star mills, this southern sensation rose up from the underground and never abandoned what he'd learned there. His third album WORD OF MOUF may find Ludacris surrounded by a brace of guests that include both heavy hitters (Mystikal, Jagged Edge, Nate Dogg) and more unknown names (Sleepy Brown, Keon Bryce, Fate Wilson), but he draws on his own considerable verbal skills and unique urban vision as the foundations for his work.

"U Don't Have To Call" won the 2003 Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance.
R&B mack daddy Usher puts a lot of himself into 8701; that's apparent even from the title itself, which represents the year Usher began exploring the world of music ('87) and the place where music brought him by the time of this recording ('01). He starts thing out in grand style with the romantic "U Remind Me." "I Don't Know" takes a hip-hop turn ...

$10.45 This is a hybrid Super Audio CD playable on both regular and Super Audio CD players.
In the year leading up to the release of his third disc, CHICKEN & BEER, Ludacris' distinguished drawl could be heard all over the radio on commanding guest appearance after guest appearance, most notably on Missy Elliott's smash "Gossip Folks." Not that he needed any more airplay--his first two major releases already had the Georgian rapper well established as one of the most accomplished ...
| | Lush Lovelife CD (1996)
Word Of Mouf music CDs
$20.95 LOVELIFE is the fourth 4AD album by the stripped-down, girl-dominant London quartet. Having begun its career as a drone-heavy, psychedelic band--part of the UK's "shoegazer" movement of the early '90s--Lush evolved into a guitar-pop group reminiscent of mid-'80s acts such as Let's Active and The Plimsouls. The essence of this new Lush was in its songwriters, Emma Anderson and Miki Berenyi, who contrasted musically straightforward guitar lines and ethereal vocals with strong, in-your-face lyrics.
From the opening track and first single, the blistering "Ladykillers," a diatribe against male club rats, it's clear that there's a newfound fire in the band's belly. The light, dreamy, shoegazing ...
