The Coolidge sisters return as Walla with another dose of new-age gospel. Unfortunately, the blending of Native American motifs with heavy synthesizer and highly produced vocal harmonies makes the overblown spiritual message seem rather smarmy. Indeed, it's pretty difficult to find true inspiration in saccharine tunes like "Gathering of Eagles" and "The Sequence." ~ Tim Sheridan

We enjoy the above CD mentioned but, we like the one Wallela (I believe that is how it is spelled)much better. The other "Unbearable Love" was a little too contemporary for us but, sure others like it. Thanks for your good service to us.

5 stars beautiful music with beautiful harmonies
i love rita coolidge---one of the best voices in popular music. walela is a group consisting of rita coolidge, her sister priscella, and priscellas daughter, laura satterfield--this is music sung from the heart--this group has won so many awards for native american music--some songs sung in cherokee---what is so good--is this CD has songs sung by the group--and then each separately--you need to get this CD--so amazing
