Controversial throwback art rock band A.R.E. Weapons prove they fit in on the Rough Trade label with the three song single NEW YORK MUSCLE.

Bolstered by rave reviews in The Face and NME, the "gang" are outfitted by the NY design collective As Four and perform most at art galleries, but that will soon change. (Tthey're known to roll around on the floor and pick fights with audience members). Their retro electro sound channels the frenetic energy of New York City, similar in style to the band Suicide.
