5 stars Scottish/Irish folksongs arr. by Beethoven
These little gems come to life in this performance. Sophie's lovely uncluttered voice and clear diction are perfect in these renditions and the accompaniments are excellent. All performers are very good. I am wearing out the CD and am giving it 5 stars--truly delightful.

4 stars Delightful lieder
This is a compilation of rarely performed folksongs arranged by Beethoven. The performances are quite good and the whole album is delightful and light hearted (by and large).
