Scottish/Irish folksongs arr. by Beethoven These little gems come to life in this performance. Sophie's lovely uncluttered voice and clear diction are perfect in these renditions and the accompaniments are excellent. All performers are very good. I am wearing out the CD and am giving it 5 stars--truly delightful.

Delightful lieder This is a compilation of rarely performed folksongs arranged by Beethoven. The performances are quite good and the whole album is delightful and light hearted (by and large). Submitted by stamrol (Berkeley, CA, USA) Was This Review Helpful? YesNo

Renowned for its awe-inspiring Gothic architecture, the cathedral was the perfect setting to enter the magical world of Symphony lead by the voice of the beautiful, gothic-angel. The concert includes repertoire from her album Symphony and some of her most popular songs ('Phantom of the Opera,' 'Time to Say Goodbye'). Fans can own the live material in this DVD/CD set. Included are duets with Alessandro Safina, Chris Thompson, and Fernando Lima.
