FULL MOON was nominated for the 2003 Grammy Awards for Best Contemporary R&B Album.
The first couple of years of the 21st century proved to be a crowded field for photogenic young R&B-pop divas (Britney, Christina, Mya, the list goes on...). Many of these occupy a file in some folks' minds that's labeled "one-shot." FULL MOON serves to disprove such notions in the case of the in-it-for-the-long-haul siren Brandy. The album kicks off with a whisper, as the young songstress lets her voice gently caress the lush, balladic tones of the title track. Things kick into gear in short order though (on the very next tune, in fact) with "I Thought," where our girl lets her feelings of romantic disappointment out over a firm, funky backdrop full of heavy bass. By the time we reach the undulating "Can We," street-smart hip-hop influences have crept into the production aesthetic by way of squiggling synths and forceful beats. Throughout FULL MOON, whether she's belting it out or sneaking in the back door, Brandy lets her listeners know she's more than just a flash in the pan.

I have all 4 of Brandy's albums and by far this is my favorite album. Her voice is really mature and sultry and I like the ways the beats are blended in together. It was so phenomenal I bought 2 copies. My top 5 songs on the album are Full Moon, I'd die without you, Nothing, Like This and What about us. U GO GIRL

Brandy is back with another very good album...when i say Very good album , i mean it...after her self-titled first album BRANDY ad the second one NEVER SAY NEVER...That album shows how Brandy evolved vocally! i was almost shocked when i heard that sweeter and smoother voice of hers (compared to her previous albums where it sounds not really mature but still VERY GOOD TO HEAR!)... her runs on the beats are amazing and so natural....she doesnt need to yell on them to have shaky songs...
Do your thing brandy...you're awesome!! WE LOVE YOU...

I love Brandy and the phenomonal voice that she has. My all time favorite songs on this album is When You Touch Me, Die Without You and What About Us. I love all of her albums but I mostly relate to this album in particular. Keep holdin' it down for the ladies Brandy and I can't wait to hear from u real soon.

The entire album spoke to me in a way that nobody can explain. I just got to this CD a couple of days ago and even though it was out in 2002. Its clear is the best album for me in 2005. Singles like "He Is" "When You Touch Me" "Die Without You" "Wow" "Its Not Worth It" (Recent brake up) I have found myself in a relationship and it totally explained my love for my new lover. I totally think this album closed doors for Ciara, Ashanti, Mariah, Beyonce, and all of them. Brandy you are number one and you have and always will be Number One in my life as a Singer and Actress. You must get this album. You'll cry like I did.

Ignore the critics.
I remember this album when I was 15 and bought it from my mom. I love this CD. This album shows Brandy's growth and maturity. This album sold over a million copies. She still works with Rodney Jerkins. This album is off the hook.
