title track
Literally the title track alone is worth the price of the CD. Honestly I believe that song is the epitome of hip-hop. hell the first thirty seconds of Daylight is worth twice the CD. an absolutely amazing album. His incredibly complex lyrical content of that song blows me away every time. I've listened to it easily 100 times this week and I can barely interpret 1/4 of it and that 1/4 still blows me away. I'm constantly analyzing this song and I love it every time.

This release should have never 'SEEN DAYLIGHT'...
Another boring album from our favorite boring emcee Aesop Rock. This gets two stars from me, one because it's wack, the 2nd star is for Blockhead who is pretty dope and innovative. Otherwise, skip this garbage. Buy real hip hop.

awesome
Of course music is totally subjective and not everyone is going to like Aesop, but I love his beats and what he has to say. His style is completely original and he is the only one that can do it like he does. Also the hidden track at the end of maintenance is awesome.

It's so bad...
...that you'd have to pay me $8.29 to listen to this one time around.

Fresh Daylight
Daylight was and still is one of the most intense CDs from the Def Jux group. The songs are meant to be listened more than once, and the more you hear them, the more you can relate to the subject. Another great feature is that Aesop Rock leaves plenty of room for the crowd to interpret his lyrics. People with brains will appreciate this album just like his others.
