So the MOULIN ROUGE soundtrack wasn't enough for you, eh? Well if you can't live without more sonic representation of the film that made Nicole Kidman an even bigger star than she already was, you'll be pleased as punch at the existence of MOULIN ROUGE 2. Don't expect to hear from young R&B/pop divas like Pink and Christina Aguilera this time around though. The news item on MOULIN ROUGE 2 is that unlike it's star-filled predecessor, this soundtrack disc focuses its attention squarely on Kidman herself, featuring the tunes she sang in the movie, along with fellow vocalizing thespians Jim Broadbent, Ewan McGregor, and others.
Second Time Around I owned this cd once before and loved it to pieces...someone stole it from me a trip and I was heartbroken. But the music is so gratifying that I had to buy it again. My favorite song (if that is possible, because they are ALL fantastic) is Meet You in the Red Room. It's sexy and confident...it makes me feel that way when I hear it. Just a little Taste I thought this CD was good--but not enough songs were added and the ones that were, were a little short. All you got was the taste of the movie. But I wanted it to put me back in the movie, like I was there at the real Musical!
I like the CD though. Submitted by Tatiania02 (Glen Allen, Virginia) Was This Review Helpful? YesNo
