GREAT sonics and great arrangements
This was orinally released after both of the Dorsey brothers had died. It goes to show that even during their last year of recording, they were still making outstanding records. Many of the songs here are new arrangements of their hits from the 40's. These are all instrumentals and sound great. If you want to hear Tommy's great trombone with modern sound, this is the cd for you. There are several outstanding arrangments, such as "Rain", "Moonlight in Vermont", and my favorite "I Should Care". If you enjoy the Dorsey brothers, get this cd. It features many songs you can not get elsewhere.

The Dorsey Brothers at their best!
This CD contains some of the best Post-War era recordings made by the Dorseys. Not only is the sound quality great, recorded in high-fidelity, but you get to hear them at their best. I highly recommend this CD to anyone who wants to hear this great band at it's zenith!

Great Big Band Music
This album contains the great big band music of the Dorsey Brothers. It duplicates an earlier LP release (Columbia JC2L 8) except for the song "Wagon Wheels". Especially great are the spirituals such as "Judgment Is Coming" and "This Is What Gabriel Says", songs you do not hear on other Dorsey albums. This is my second copy of the CD. I want to have an extra in case I wear the first one out!
