| | Iveys Maybe Tomorrow CD Iveys Discography of CDs
(1 Customer Review)
Import only expanded remastered re-issue. The Iveys were one of the first artists signed to Apple records in 1968. Their one worldwide release seemed to have great potential, but, in the end, it wasn't until a change in personnel and name that they would find real fame as Badfinger. 'Maybe Tomorrow' is a treat for Badfinger fans everywhere. All twelve original selections, produced by Tony Visconti and Mel Evans, appear in their original stereo mixes. The collection also features four bonus tracks from early demo tapes and B-sides. Parlophone/Apple. 2004. Iveys Maybe Tomorrow Songs | 1. | See-Saw Grandpa |

Maybe Tomorrow
$7.35 British import edition, this includes nine bonus tracks, including remixes, unreleased instrumentals, and in-studio chatter.
With IN ROCK, Deep Purple added vocalist Ian Gillan into the line-up, a decision that irrevocably changed their fortunes. IN ROCK is one of the genre's definitive albums, combining hard-edged riffs with virtuoso technique, topped by Gillan's full-throated roar. Few singers could survive the instrumental power beneath him, but this he does with room to spare, reacting to and emphasizing his ...
| | Yes Drama CD (1980) Bonus Tracks; Remastered
Maybe Tomorrow
$6.85 It was widely assumed that when vocalist/songwriter Jon Anderson left Yes at the end of the '70s, the band was doomed. Most folks forgot that bassist/composer Chris Squire was the other founding member of the band, and he had as much to do with their sound as Anderson. It was surprising enough when the band decided to continue with a new vocalist and keyboardist. It was even more surprising when the new members turned out to be Trevor Horn (later a famed pop producer) and Geoff Downes (who would soon depart with Steve Howe for Asia). And it was downright shocking when the resultant album DRAMA turned out to be a great one.
While Horn's voice is in the same general range as Anderson's, he tends to blend more with the vocals of Howe and Squire for a distinctive three-part harmony sound. Similarly, the individual instrumental ...

| | Moody Blues On The Threshold Of A Dream (1969) (Import) Bonus Tracks; Germany; United Kingdom
Maybe Tomorrow
$17.15 Originally released on Deram (1035). Includes liner notes by John Reed.
This is a hybrid Super Audio CD playable on both regular and Super Audio CD players.
Where this album's predecessor IN SEARCH OF THE LOST CHORD dipped deeply into Eastern-flavored psychedelia, THRESHOLD is more of a straightforward rock record. Things open up experimentally enough, with a spoken-word vignette over electronic drones, but this leads straight into one of the Moodies' poppiest, most up-tempo songs, "Lovely to see You," which would remain a concert favorite for decades. Even notoriously theatrical flautist/vocalist Ray Thomas keeps his eccentricities in check on his effective ...
| | Alan Parsons Turn Of A Friendly Card CD (1979) Bonus Tracks; Remastered
Maybe Tomorrow
$7.65 Orchestra of the Munich Chamber Opera Care of Eberhardt Schoener arranged and conducted by Andrew Powell.
With TURN OF A FRIENDLY CARD, Alan Parsons has furthered his bid for mainstream success by combining his lush, synthesized art rock with memorable melodies. In fact, two of the album's songs--the infectious, pulsing "Games People Play" and the dreamily drifting "Time"-- became durable radio singles. Like all of Parsons's efforts, however, this album is far more than just a collection of singles.
TURN OF A FRIENDLY CARD continues Parsons's penchant for concept albums: every song centers on gambling and its literal and metaphorical ...
| | Moody Blues Every Good Boy Deserves Favour CD (1971) England; SACD Hybrid
Maybe Tomorrow
$24.45 This is a hybrid Super Audio CD playable on both regular and Super Audio CD players.
Though this 1971 release was issued at a time of enormous commercial success for the Moody Blues, EVERY GOOD BOY DESERVES FAVOUR contains some of the band's most adventurous music. The band had recently discovered the Moog synthesizer, and its presence is felt on much of the album. The opening "Procession" instantly sets this collection's experimental course, landing like a spacecraft among reams of cascading synthesizer before evolving into a soundscape of cricket chirps, thunderclaps, and tribal chanting. The next three minutes contain one ...

Maybe Tomorrow
$14.45 While Ashanti emerged from the fierce world of the Murder Inc. label and has continued to ally herself with Irv Gotti and his posse, she has always possessed a downy softness untouched by the controversy swirling around her circle. As Ashanti explains the title of her third proper studio record, CONCRETE ROSE, it represents her dual existence in the gritty street life of hip-hop and the gentler world of R&B. While hip-hop eases its way into her music, it is not the ...

| | Crosby, Stills, and Nash Crosby, Stills & Nash CD (1969) Bonus Tracks; Remastered
Maybe Tomorrow
$15.65 It was big news in 1969 when former key members of the Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, and the Hollies--three of the finest bands of the '60s--splintered off to form their own trio. Despite their already-proven talents, few could have imagined the gossamer vocal blend that would become the trademark of supergroup Crosby, Stills & Nash. The band's debut effectively provided the soundtrack to the summer of '69.
For his part, Steve Stills keeps exploring the progressive folk-rock sound that he'd pioneered with Buffalo Springfield; ...
