Hezekiah Walker may lead one of the most popular and exciting contemporary gospel choirs (the Love Fellowship Choir) and be a Grammy-winning recording artist, but his music and message are based in something much deeper than the music business. The Brooklyn-born Walker established his own church in the East New York section of Brooklyn, one of the most dangerous, crime-ridden areas in the city, and pioneered extremely successful community outreach programs. The Pastor's work with his choir is an outgrowth of his ministry, helping to spread through music the message of faith that has inspired Walker and his Choir to help so many others.
Musically, the marriage of pop, funk, R&B, and gospel is a crisp, energetic one. Solid, funky grooves bubble beneath the jubilant sound of Walker's emotive voice and the grand accompaniment of the massed choral voices. The live format makes it all the more possible to experience the very visceral connection that Walker and the choir make with their audience in what could only be termed a FAMILY AFFAIR.

This CD has the best songs in my book. I enjoy listening to it every time, and it never gets old. My top favorites on this CD were tracks 3,5, and 7. Hezekiah Walker really has the power to inspire you to continue on in you journey called "life" with your ups and downs. He truly puts the "ministry in music"

I Love This Album. It has somthing for everyone. All of These are special but my favorites are "Calling My Name", "Never Goanna Let You Go", "When we get over there" & more. This is a wonderful album. God Bless

This CD is perfection, every track is worthy of praise except i feel that the two J Moss tracks don't really fit in, but because it Hezekiah Walker they do! the organ completes each track sweetly.

This CD is one of the best that Hezekiah Walker and Love Fellowship Choir has put out in a while. Not only is it a good mix of the old and new songs, but it is a good blend of talent. (I.e. Kim Burrell, Ted and Sheri and John P. Kee) This one will be a collector's item.
