Techno does a great remix!
Once I saw TCM live, I knew it was a great thing, not only does Community Service include many other great bands, but TCM does a great job of covering them and remixing to make every song sound like it should have come out that way in the first place!

Not quite up to par
Good, fun, but not for everybody. I still really liked this set, but not as much as Vegas and Tweekend. There are some killer tracks here, but for the most part, it's a bit too heavy with the mainstream dance beat for my tastes. There isn't as much depth in the songs as in the past. On the other hand, it is TCM, so it still goes towards the top of my list anyway. Gotta love 'em!

At least it was better then tweekend
If I didn't know music that well, or new to the techno scene, I would give this album 5 stars, but Crystal Method has really gone down hill. I know that you are thinking that I hate them, but in fact I really do like their music, and have over 200 songs of their B-Side remixes and other really good stuff that should be in their albums, instead of just taking popular songs by other artists, and incorporating that into the mix. If I wanted to hear a good compilation other people's music I would go listen to a local DJ, or buy a DJ Micro cd. Crystal Method has made some awesome stuff in the past, and their concerts are nice, but the past two albums are just getting lame. Two of the songs they did (Parnoid, and Renagade’s of Funk) are really old, and the majority of the other ones just aren't as origanol as they can get (still better then the tweekend album). Just seems like they just threw this album together, didn't spend the time to produce and refine their own music, with only a couple of new songs that TCM remixed. To sum it up, if you want some nice Big Beat and Breaks, or just need something to get a party started, go ahead and check this one out, but for all you die hard TCM fans, keep watching for an album from them to break the ground like Vegas did a few years back.
