Included among the 12 tracks on Madacy's budget-priced Luther Vandross compilation The Very Best of Love are all of Vandross' solo number one hits on the R&B charts and all of his solo Top Ten pop hits, as well as his hit duets with Mariah Carey ("Endless Love") and Dionne Warwick ("How Many Times Can We Say Goodbye"). A couple of the other choices are questionable (e.g., "So Amazing" barely made the R&B charts, much less the pop charts), and the collection could have been more comprehensive.
