I own a lot of Cash. This CD, I must say is the best I have ever heard. It is raw Cash. Music that is straight, and straight to the heart and soul. If you like Cash, this is a must have.

This CD is excellent. It showcases Johnny Cash music at is very best. If you are a Johnny Cash fan, you must have this one.

 The Man in Black before he became the Man in Black.
This is the recording that got me on to Johnny Cash way back in 1957/58. This is the classic Sun Sound, never bettered although later recordings came close. It is fascinating to hear these songs which really show off the simple stripped bare sound of Johnny Cash, with no frills added. However, the additional tracks whilst interesting add nothing to the original recording.
