My Chemical Romance are another in the swarm of hard-edged, emo-tinged punk-pop bands flooding the market of the early-to-mid 2000s, working firmly in a post-hardcore musical vein that doesn't rule out sensitivity and inspection in lyrical content. On I BROUGHT YOU MY BULLETS, YOU BROUGHT ME YOUR LOVE, the band's debut, My Chemical Romance shows that they don't fool around on either count. Bolstered by chugging, crunching guitars, pulse-quickening rhythms, and passionate, anthemic melodies straight from the alt-rock rulebook, MCR unleashes a blistering intensity that encourages raised, clenched fists, while incorporating elements of nu metal and punk with surprising skill.
Lead singer Gerard Way has a way with words, and I BROUGHT YOU MY BULLETS also serves as a tour through the bleaker corridors of the human spirit. Way's angst-infused vocals and lyrics about loneliness, anger, substance abuse, and alienation, prove MCR is fully able to articulately explore the dark side. The combination of thoughtful, expressive themes and pounding, no-nonsense rock buries MCR's softer, bedsitting emo brethren any day of the week, and promises good things to come from this New Jersey outfit.

I heard the samp;es and I love it. I just got a copy from my cousin and it is amasing. I also got Sum 41 chuck as well. All MCR albums are amasing so get it and listen. If you havent heard Three Cheers get it to. One more thing. Foxboro Huttubs are Green Day I also recomend getting Stop Drop and Roll its better than American idiot

Very Good.
After hearing all their albums, listening to each track until i know the words by heart, i have to say, you can NEVER beat the original. This album has it all, love, sorrow, anger, hate, revenge. It has the lot, and i am amazed that a band can contain all those things in ONE album.
Track 11 - Demolition Lovers is my personal best from all their albums, i listen to it a lot and often have it on repeat.
An album for keeps, no matter what. It should always remain on your bookshelf =] Good job guys, very good job.

I love this c.d. you should by it i've been a mcr fan for like a year after seeing one concert and i never knew how farther deep in the chain of mcr zombies i could go and i'm pretty far down there ;) bye this c.d. and become an even bigger mcr zombie!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent Shot of old My Chemical Romance
It has been almost 8 years since this album was released. My Chemical Romance has tremendoulsy grown as a band. They have grown for the better. This album shows that they can definately pull off a darker toned album if they ever tried. From Romance to Demolition Lovers...this album sends shivers down my spine everytime i hear it.
