(6 Customer Reviews)
This Baltimore/DC-area outfit first came to public attention in 2000 with NOW YOU SEE INSIDE. TOMORROW's somewhat more jaded lyrical approach bespeaks a band who's been through the mill of fame and media exposure and come out the other side. As on their first album, the band that's named for a super-fast spy plane mixes melodic know-how with heavy rock power. The title track, for example, is full of the kind of angst-ridden post-grunge that wouldn't sound out of place on a Bush album. Other songs bear a more melodic, pop-friendly approach. With the production input of Everclear/New Found Glory knob-twirler Neal Avron, TOMORROW is an immaculately crafted mix of alternative rock (whatever that means at this late date), hard rock, and pop, with its appeal maximized for mass consumption and a radio feeding frenzy.

HOTTEST NEW CD OF 2002!!! SR-71's new release "TOMORROW" is the hottest CD I have heard so far this year!
This band knows how to bring rock to a level everyone can enjoy. You want to sing along with songs like "GOODBYE" & "LUCKY". While the other full of energy tracks like "THEY ALL FALL DOWN" ,"MY WORLD" & "TOMORROW" really get your blood pumping. If you are looking for some deeper emotions to surface, then songs like "TRUTH" & "HELLO HELLO" are for you.
A combination of great lyrics, heavy guitars, cool bass lines and awesome drums, make 'TOMORROW' a must have this year.I love every song on this CD and will recommend it to any music fan!

Tomorrow album
$7.69 Combine the edgy pop riffs of Lit with an emphasis on vocal harmony reminiscent of the Outfield, and you have SR71. While it may be little more than a boy-band with a heavy guitar backdrop, SR71 nevertheless delivers a smart and fun set of upbeat rockers on NOW YOU SEE INSIDE.
Light social commentary peppers NOW YOU SEE INSIDE in tunes like "Politically Correct" and "The Last Man on the Moon." The main thrust of NOW YOU SEE INSIDE, however, is the adolescent alienation and wonder that all youths experience. Lyrically the album is quite sound. Frontman Mitch Allan's take on teenage romance provides SR71's music with a maturity that is often lacking in popular love songs. While SR71 doesn't exactly break new ground on NOW YOU SEE INSIDE, it does succeed in reinvigorating the rock ballad on songs such as "What a Mess" or "Fame (What She's Wanting)." If SR71 is a pretty bunch of boys very likely to become the next N'SYNC, at least they'll have some talent to back it up.

| | VH1 Presents The Corrs Live In Dublin CD (2002)
Tomorrow CD music
$6.39 This audio document of The Corrs' Dublin homecoming concert has pretty much everything fans of Irish pop could wish for, including an appearance from Bono in his earthly incarnation, fresh from an audience with President George W. Bush. It's to the band's credit that the charismatic singer fails to steal the show, despite creditable efforts via an anthemized version of Ryan Adams' beautifully downtempo "When the Stars Go Blue," and a great, leering rendition of Lee Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra's "Summer Wine."
Somewhat more mysteriously, Rolling Stone Ron Wood also turns up on what sounds dangerously close to a lounge version of Jimi Hendrix's "Little Wing," ...

| | Pop Punk's Not Dead CD (2007)
Tomorrow music CDs
$9.89 When Dave Parasite says pop-punk's not dead, well, he means it. But we're not talking about what passes for the genre in the mainstream, what with all the faux-hawks, clothing endorsements and MTV spring break specials. Nope, there remains a healthy underground bubblegum-punk scene that doesn't seem to realize there's more to life than Queers colored 7"s and a ratty old pair of Chucks. This is a compilation for those punks, or as Parasite so eloquently puts it in the liner notes, the geeks -- "those hopelessly single guys and gals who revel in listening to other guys and gals sing catchy songs about being hopelessly single." That might sound pretty emo on paper, and maybe in essence it is, but there's absolutely nothing upsetting about any of these tracks, which are all basically speedy variations on three chords and the notion that the cute girl in the black-rimmed glasses and Ramones T-shirt will never go out with you. For a person who never gets tired of that theme, it doesn't get much more fun than this roundup of bands. Stellar performances are brought from all corners of the globe -- the Manges in Italy, New Jersey's the Ergs, Mach Pelican over in Australia, Belgium's Janez Detd., Japan's the Wimpy's, and the Travoltas ...
| | Hunzer B Little Scoop CD (2008)
Tomorrow songs
$10.65 hunzer B. is the musical collaboration between songwriters Daniel Parker and Adrienne Krey. The two met in 2002 when do-good social activist Parker knocked on then museum curator Krey’s front door in NE Portland and asked her to donate to a political campaign.Thirty-five bucks and four cups of tea later the pair, who had attended neighboring high schools in New York and shared the same orthodontist, became inseparable. The songs on \'Little Scoop\' offer a soft array of colorful and wispy poems centered around modern love and partnership. The songs are modern folk/pop love songs. Simply structured but with a broad sonic palette that brings the music from the dulcimer and violin pizzicatos of “Green Love Still” and “Reservoir” to the Go-Go’s sounding drums, pop keyboards and guitars of “Anti-Valentine’s Song.”Although the beauty of hunzer B. is in their songwriting, the gentle use of Appalachian lap dulcimer, acoustic ...
