(6 Customer Reviews)
This Baltimore/DC-area outfit first came to public attention in 2000 with NOW YOU SEE INSIDE. TOMORROW's somewhat more jaded lyrical approach bespeaks a band who's been through the mill of fame and media exposure and come out the other side. As on their first album, the band that's named for a super-fast spy plane mixes melodic know-how with heavy rock power. The title track, for example, is full of the kind of angst-ridden post-grunge that wouldn't sound out of place on a Bush album. Other songs bear a more melodic, pop-friendly approach. With the production input of Everclear/New Found Glory knob-twirler Neal Avron, TOMORROW is an immaculately crafted mix of alternative rock (whatever that means at this late date), hard rock, and pop, with its appeal maximized for mass consumption and a radio feeding frenzy.

HOTTEST NEW CD OF 2002!!! SR-71's new release "TOMORROW" is the hottest CD I have heard so far this year!
This band knows how to bring rock to a level everyone can enjoy. You want to sing along with songs like "GOODBYE" & "LUCKY". While the other full of energy tracks like "THEY ALL FALL DOWN" ,"MY WORLD" & "TOMORROW" really get your blood pumping. If you are looking for some deeper emotions to surface, then songs like "TRUTH" & "HELLO HELLO" are for you.
A combination of great lyrics, heavy guitars, cool bass lines and awesome drums, make 'TOMORROW' a must have this year.I love every song on this CD and will recommend it to any music fan!

Tomorrow album
$9.58 After 40 years, a number of ill-conceived posthumous albums, and countless bootlegs, one would almost have to be skeptical of a new album billed as "12 previously unreleased studio recordings -- almost 60 minutes of unheard Jimi Hendrix!" The good news is that Valleys of Neptune largely delivers on that promise. Even hardcore collectors will likely be surprised at how much of this album they haven't heard. But much of this material has been available before in some form, official and otherwise. Although there were tons of posthumous overdubs, elements of these very versions of "Stone Free" and "Hear My Train Comin'" were used as building blocks for the versions on Crash Landing and Midnight Lightning, respectively. Additionally, this version of "Stone Free" was included on 2000's The Jimi Hendrix Experience box set, the only difference being that Noel Redding's bass and vocals were replaced with Billy Cox's bass from a slightly later studio session. An excerpt of the tune "Valleys of Neptune" was released as part of the Lifelines radio program box set, but that track ("Mr. Bad Luck" [aka "Look Over Yonder"]) and "Lullaby for the Summer" (basically an instrumental version of "Ezy Rider") were all well-known to collectors. However, Eddie Kramer's fresh mixes make them all sound better than ever. "Fire," "Red House," and "Sunshine of Your Love" are obviously well-known tunes, but these versions ...
| | Michael Jackson Thriller CD (1982) Bonus Tracks; Remastered; Special Edition
Tomorrow CD music
$6.06 The finest example of perfect disco pop, and a record that should be prescribed to musical snobs and manic depressives. The album is a true ambassador of what pop music can be. Jackson whoops and dances through a suite of unforgettable melodies that should be danced to with a smile on your face. Each track offers at least one musical hook, whether it is the beauty of 'Human Nature' (who can resist the 'dada dada da da da') or the 'whoo whoo' of 'Billie Jean'. It's all too good.
Off the Wall was a massive success, spawning four Top Ten hits (two of them number ones), but nothing could have prepared Michael Jackson for Thriller. Nobody could have prepared anybody for the success of Thriller, since the magnitude of its success was simply unimaginable -- an album that sold 40 million copies in its initial chart run, with seven of its nine tracks reaching the Top Ten (for the record, the terrific "Baby Be Mine" and the pretty good ballad "The Lady in My Life" are not like the others). This was a record that had something ...

With Queen officially enshrined in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, Hollywood Records reintroduces the band yet again with the release of GREATEST HITS I, II & III. While Volumes I and II are full of Queen classics you already know by heart, the third cobbles together odds and sods from the far corners of Queen's canon along with solo cuts from Freddie Mercury and Brian May.
Opening with the operatic rock classic "Bohemian Rhapsody," it's easy to hear not only how this British quartet achieved the kind of global acclaim that ensured they'd be enshrined alongside the likes of the Beatles and Led Zeppelin. When they weren't dabbling in playful '50s-flavored rock & roll ("Crazy Little Thing Called Love"), catchy glam ("Killer Queen"), or hard-edged funk ("Another One Bites The Dust"), Queen was capable of delivering heartfelt love letters ("You're My Best Friend"). The band's '80s output ...
| | Black Sabbath Paranoid CD (1971)
Tomorrow CD music
$9.89 PARANOID proved to be Black Sabbath's most focused, consistent, and successful record. Leaving behind the amorphous, extended jams of their debut for focused songs and a more structured sound, Black Sabbath virtually wrote the book on heavy metal with the ominous, unforgettable riffs, thunderous rhythms, and dark themes on this release. There are some up-tempo rockers, the famous title track for one, but for the most part PARANOID oozes along like a bad dream, as on the slinky, creepy opener, "War Pigs," or the lumbering thud of "Iron Man" (which boasts one of the most indelible electric guitar riffs in rock history).
The album's title is apt: PARANOID is filled with an edgy aggression and lyrics about war, insanity, death, and destruction. Ozzy Osbourne's flat, affectless voice ...

| | Pop Punk's Not Dead CD (2007)
Tomorrow songs
$9.89 When Dave Parasite says pop-punk's not dead, well, he means it. But we're not talking about what passes for the genre in the mainstream, what with all the faux-hawks, clothing endorsements and MTV spring break specials. Nope, there remains a healthy underground bubblegum-punk scene that doesn't seem to realize there's more to life than Queers colored 7"s and a ratty old pair of Chucks. This is a compilation for those punks, or as Parasite so eloquently puts it in the liner notes, the geeks -- "those hopelessly single guys and gals who revel in listening to other guys and gals sing catchy songs about being hopelessly single." That might sound pretty emo on paper, and maybe in essence it is, but there's absolutely nothing upsetting about any of these tracks, which are all basically speedy variations on three chords and the notion that the cute girl in the black-rimmed glasses and Ramones T-shirt will never go out with you. For a person who never gets tired of that theme, it doesn't get much more fun than this roundup of bands. Stellar performances are brought from all ...
