The best remaster in the collection
I bought this CD when it first came out in 1993. I loved the songs, but the sound quality was just awful. After buying most of the remasters, I really thought the remaster for "Security Of Illusion" would be a little better than the original. After listening to it, I was wrong. All of the re-issue discs sound great, but this one is proof that the remastering job is absolutely superb.

Saga at its ususal best
A Saga fan since 1981 when ON THE LOOSE was a hit on radio. Then started buying vinyl. Couldn't wait for each new release. After going to CDs I have just begun to up grade my collection. This from 2001 is amazing stuff and not so different from the Saga I have known and loved all along. Have both their DVDs and highly recommend them too.

Unfortunately a poor "Remaster" ...!
Well, Saga-Fans, those so-called "Remasters" of their albums unfortunately turn out poorly in every department - graphics/pictures, as well as sound aren't any better or more improved compared to the original album releases...!! Also, the Bonus Track on this Remaster is an awful acoustic/demo recording of the title track "Security of Illusion" - Michael Sadler's usually great voice folds here ...
So why bother buying it !?
That's simple: For any die-hard fan out there who hasn't got the complete catalogue of albums yet; and further ...if you purchase 10 of Saga's Remasters (coupons are included with CDs !), you receive an exclusive Box from Canada for those CDs ... !!
No doubt about it ... the music on this album is great - not the typical Saga-Sound, but real heavy ...remember ...this is the first release after Saga's (original 5-man-lineup) reunion in 1992 after being split up for about 6 years, so they had to find together again...Enjoyable after all criticism !!

Best Saga album!!!!
This album is hands down from start to finish the best Saga album ever recorded......from the hard rocking songs "Mind Over Matter", "Without You, and "Once is Never Enough" to the ballads "Alone Again Tonight" and "The Security of Illusion," this album has something for everyone.....it is definitely my favorite Saga album....a must buy/no-brainer for fans.....you won't be disappointed......

This IS one of their best albums!
If this is'nt the best remastered disk I've heard,I sure haven't heard another one that sounds better!Every song on this disk is excellent!Get this one!
