Jakob Magnusson - Jack Magnet CD - Import

The icelandic multitalented keyboardplayer and singer Jakob Magnusson made this album back in '81 presenting a great bunch og good tunes, AND an impressive list of great musicians as Jeff Porcaro and Vinnie Coaliuta on drums, Neil Stubenhaus and Abraham Laboriel on bass, Craig Marsden and Carlos Rios on guitars Jerry Hey and friend in the hornsection, and Bill Champlin on vocals. Jakob himself does the lead vocals an incredible number of thrilling keybord and synthsolos. The album is a brilliant mix of Westcoast and Jazzfusion. Great songs, textlines with a lot of humor, great arrangements and extremely well played. The icelandic headman shows his ability as a writer, arranger and talentet keyboardplayer.
